Dr. Rami Morcos, Neurologist

Dr. Rami Morcos MD, CSPQ, FRCPC, FABPN completed his medical degree at the University of Sherbrooke (1979), his internship and specialization in neurology at McGill University (79 to 83) and an additional specialization in medical electrophysiology from the same university (83 to 84). Among McGill hospitals, he was resident at the Montreal General Hospital, the St-Mary's Hospital, the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital.

Dr. Morcos holds specialist degrees in neurology and electroencephalography from the Province of Quebec (CSPQ) and in neurology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (FABPN). He is an active member of the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and neurology specialist associations (Quebec Association of Neurologists (QAN), Neurological Sciences Federation of Canada (NSFC) and American Academy of Neurology (AAN)). He also participates in the program to maintain competency (MOC) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the U.S. program CONTINUUM.

Dr. Morcos worked as a neurologist in various clinics and hospitals, including the Charles Lemoyne Hospital and the Sacré-Coeur Hospital from 1984 to 2000 while he was also responsible for clinical training of students, interns and residents at the University of Montreal for clinical neurology. He has been active in medical research and has published scientific and clinical articles in various specialized journals. Dr. Morcos now practices full time at the Clinique Neurologique Laennec.
